Club member Luke deG. brings in the VW car part he printed a while back. As you can see the parts have warped due to heat from being in the car and having been under some items (weight). It would seem that heat and pressure are not friends to PLA material. This makes sense seeing as PLA is a thermoplastic that has a relatively low melting point. PLA is a fantastic printing material, however is not best suited for all situations. This is a great example demonstrating the real world feasibility of PLA.
