So, for the upcoming cold casting workshop (it is happening don't worry), as well as other casting projects, I needed a machine. Meet the whirlygig, with an internal frame of 21in x 21 in it can hold a whole lot of molds for rotational casting!! It's a work in progress (as are many things in life). But what's cool is that most of the connecting components are 3D printed. The bars are 2020 aluminum extrusion and the motor is a gear-reduced motor being controlled by a 12v motor controller.
